Be Human is a Luxembourg-based nonprofit organization dedicated to equipping young people from diverse backgrounds with the tools and skills needed to overcome visible and invisible barriers and drive meaningful change. Working at the intersection of accessibility, youth empowerment, and social impact, Be Human’s work is rooted in SDG 3 (Good Health and Well-Being), SDG 5 (Gender Equality), and SDG 10 (Reduced Inequalities).

During the information session on the 23rd of March at 12:00, students will:

  • Learn more about Be Human’s mission and ongoing projects
  • Be introduced to the Hidden Disability Hub (HDH), a program designed to support young people whose brains are wired differently to feel they belong to the hidden disability community (e.g. Autism, ADHD, Dyslexia, Giftedness) through self-advocacy tools, peer support, and rights-based educational workshops

Do you feel like your brain is wired differently? Would you like to be part of a community of like-minded people? You may be interested in joining the Hidden Disability Hub (HDH) at Be Human.

The HDH is a free, 6-month program for individuals aged under the age of 35 with hidden disabilities. While the pilot year primarily targets neurominorities such as autism or ADHD, applications are welcome regardless of diagnosis (and also for the undiagnosed!). Participants benefit from monthly rights-based workshops, as well as the opportunity to access 1-on-1 sessions with Be Human’s in-house jurists, who specialize in hidden disability advocacy within the Luxembourgish context, particularly helpful for navigating key life transitions.
