On March 16, from 13:00 to 16:00 at the Forum Geesseknäppchen, the Fondation Jeunes Scientifique Luxembourg (FJSL) will be organizing the open doors of the 53rd edition of the annual national “Jonk Fuerscher” competition. More than sixty research and innovation projects will be unveiled to the public, all of which have been carried out over the past few months by almost 90 talented young people from all over the country, aged between 11 and 21.
The themes of these projects will cover the main fields of science and technology: physics, chemistry, biology, medicine, engineering, computing, environmental sciences, space sciences and social sciences. Booths with fun and hands-on activities will immerse visitors in the brilliant work of the budding scientists.
Free admission and free underground parking at the Geesseknäppchen Forum.
All highlights of the competition will be broadcast live via livestream on RTL Play and on the FJSL YouTube channel (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCjGSWtF89s0At99Pl-guxmA). Don’t miss the jury sessions and competitors’ interviews on March 14 (13:00-18:00) and March 15 (9:30-11:30, 13:00-16:00), as well as the awards ceremony on March 16 (16:00-18:00).
