After a long break, the next major Police Day will take place on Sunday 18 June 2023 in Esch-Belval. From 10 a.m., visitors will have the opportunity to discover the forces of law and order in all their facets and to get an exclusive insight into the world and profession of a police officer.
There will be demonstrations, stands, exhibitions of equipment and vehicles, as well as activities for all the family focusing on the Luxembourg police force:
- Practical demonstrations and workshops by the Police Special Unit
- Demonstration by the Police Dog Section
- Demonstration of a policing device
- Crime scene and traffic accident scenarios
- Self-defence and Lasertir demonstrations
- Children’s traffic garden
- Exhibition of service vehicles
- Sports course representing the sports test of the police examination-course
- Numerous information stands on police work, the different units within the police force, crime prevention and recruitment
- The presence of various partners such as the CGDIS, the Army and the Prison Service
- There will be food and drink stalls.
As the Police Day site is close to Esch-Belval station, we recommend that visitors take advantage of nearby public transport and the P&R.
