Kathrin Meß and Frank Schroeder present drawings about the Ravensbrück concentration camp in a discussion. These drawings are by women who have recorded their experiences in the camp. The motives behind these pictures are complex: resistance, hope, friendship, documentation. To this day, they are important testimonies against forgetting.

The theatre play ‘Hanna’ will be performed before the discussion. Hanna, an old woman, remembers: she has kept things that deportees gave her on the way to the camp. The play by Melanie Noesen and Martina Roth poses the question of memory, forgetting and guilt in relation to persecution and repression under the Nazi regime.
