Let’s take some time together to discover this fascinating period in the history of the city of Luxembourg. With the help of models, charters and other archaeological objects in the permanent exhibition, we’ll travel back in time to the 10th century and see how, from the primitive castle called Lucilinburhuc, the medieval town was gradually built. Then, we’ll leave the Museum and visit the archaeological crypt in the Rue de la Reine: it houses the remains of the medieval walls built in the 12th century.
Language: English
Price: Entry to the museum (free for students, so don’t forget your student card!)
