The presentation ‘Flora, Old and New’ is the result of years of research into the influence and development of floral imagery in art, design and technology. Using visual and other references from classical archaeology to the present day, a fascinating trail of the importance of flowers in human creativity can be traced. Botanical artist Sally Arnold has used floral motifs in her artwork since her student days.
