This training workshop is designed for recognised student associations and clubs and will be facilitated by a member of the Ombuds team.

The workshop aims to equip students with practical skills to promote a safe, respectful, and constructive environment within the student community.

Learning objectives

By the end of the workshop, students will be able to:

  • Recognise early signs of conflict and practise strategies for emotional regulation.
  • Apply core communication and de-escalation techniques in challenging situations.
  • Respond appropriately to safety concerns and incidents in shared student spaces.
  • Contribute to a culture of safety, respect, and calm communication within the student community.

Location: MAE 1.010, Belval Campus

ECTS: 0.5 ECTS for participation in two training workshops.
