At the end of the workshop, you will be able to:
- Understand the fundamental science behind climate change.
- Link the causes and consequences of climate change.
- Explain climate change in a clear way, using scientific data and vocabulary.
- Take action on climate change both as citizen and member of the University of Luxembourg.
Content:
- Climate Fresks are 3-hour workshops run by an accredited facilitator where you will work with the other participants to understand the causes and consequences of climate change and explore possible actions.
- It’s scientific as the facts from the Climate Fresk are sourced from the IPCC (Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change) reports, summarising thousands of scientific papers published globally.
- It’s neutral and objective as facilitators only present established scientific facts.
- It’s accessible as you do not need to be an expert. It requires all participants to take part in building together the Climate Fresk in a collective intelligence journey.
- It’s interactive as you will not be listening to an expert speaking for 3 hours. You will be part of the thinking and designing process.
