PLURI ARTS

by Andrea Mancini

The Pluri-Arts workshops, run by artist Andrea Mancini, are modules focussing on creative exploration rather than technical training. It invites participants to find personal and inventive solutions for tangible artistic expression through simple exercises and short projects. The course emphasizes intuition, experimentation, and process, encouraging participants to work with drawing, visual material, moving image, and sound as expressive tools. By combining physical actions with basic digital workflows, participants learn to translate ideas into form without pressure for technical perfection. The program supports curiosity, adaptability, and confidence, helping beginners develop their own ways of thinking and creating across different mediums in a supportive and open environment.

Sound recording, editing & composition

This beginner-level Sound workshop takes place over two sessions of three hours each. It introduces the basics of sound recording, editing, and composition through hands-on experimentation. The first session focuses on recording sound using synthesizers and/or field recordings, as well as working with various types of microphones. The second session centers on editing and assembling the material using audio-editing software. The module concludes with the creation of one or more sound compositions.
