Come to the “Bourse de semences locales ” organized by SEED, CELL and SOS-Faim at Teranga, Schifflange!
As every year, SEED and the réseau des semences citoyennes distribute their local seeds to help preserve the diversity of cultivated plants and maintain the traditional know‑how related to seeds.
During this event, you will be able to meet active members of the network and bring the seeds you have harvested so they can be evaluated.
In addition, Frank Adams, seed artisan in Luxembourg and co‑founder of SEED asbl, will give a talk on the draft European regulation on “new genomic techniques” (NGTs) for agriculture, which represents a paradigm shift for farming and food systems in the European Union. This topic should interest everyone, as it concerns the future of our food.
