The Sustainability Ambassadors of The University of Luxembourg, in collaboration with Greenpeace Luxembourg, natur&ëmwelt, and Meng Landwirtschaft, invite students and staff to an evening of reflection and discussion around the documentary Food for Profit. This is the third and final screening event of the Alimenterre Film Festival held at the University of Luxembourg.

This documentary takes viewers on a global journey to examine the environmental and social impact of our current food system. Through striking visuals and powerful storytelling, it invites us to consider how both individual and collective choices can contribute to a more sustainable future.

The screening will be followed by a panel discussion among Mrs. Tilly METZ (Member of the European Parliament, Member of the Committee on the Environment, Substitute Member of the Committee on Agriculture of the European Parliament), Mr. Jeff BOONEN (Member of the Chamber of Deputies, Chair of the Committee on Agriculture of the Chamber of Deputies), Dr. Kate BUCKERIDGE (Project Manager & Researcher at the Luxembourg Institute of Science and Technology (LIST)) and Mr. Raymond AENDEKERK (Representative of the platform MengLandwirtschaft, Former Managing Director of Greenpeace Luxembourg). The discussion will provide an opportunity to further explore the key messages of the film and engage with the audience in an open dialogue.

Free entrance for screening with catering.

Join us for an engaging evening of film and conversation about food, sustainability, and the choices that shape our shared future.
