Experts in archaeology, the science of materials, architecture and construction techniques reveal the many facets of earthen buildings, as they follow the progress of a “participative” building site.

Apprentices discover how to build an earth wall by hand, adding a little straw and water found on site. From the ground to the wall, from the hand that kneads to the high-tech building site, an extraordinary journey towards what sometimes seems so ordinary, the material earth and the act of building.
