Join the Third Hiking Tour on Saturday, 1st July, and explore places in Esch that you may already know, but also the hidden gems.
We meet at 10 a.m. in front of the train station of Esch, from there we set off to the actual starting point of the hiking trail (Parking at the municipal park Gaalgebierg – rue de stade). After this, we hike towards the recreational center Gaalgebierg and will walk a short distance through the animal park. There we have the possibility to drink a coffee (or eat an ice cream;)). From there it goes to the hollow of the Eisekaul Ore and to the forest school. We follow the trail, which partly runs along the national trail “Sentier du Sud”, past the Ellergronn pond to the former J. Cockegrill ore site. The trail ends again at the train station of Esch.
The hiking trail has a length of about 8km.
