The ErgoSum quartet grew out of the CHAMAD quartet formed in 2012, around experienced musicians from a wide range of backgrounds: rock, classical, chanson, jazz, improvisation and contemporary music. At the heart of their careers, important aspects are sharing the stage in small groups or orchestras, teaching at conservatories after winning first prizes, and taking responsibility for training courses, particularly in jazz and contemporary music.
