SPEAKERS
Françoise Berthet
Françoise Berthet is president of the Observatoire National de la Santé in Luxembourg. She has worked more than ten years within the Ministry of Health, focusing on planning and organisation of the curative, inpatient and outpatient sector, as well as the evaluation of the quality and performance of health care.
Maya Dusenbery
Maya Dusenbery is a journalist, editor, and author of the book “Doing Harm: The Truth About How Bad Medicine and Lazy Science Leave Women Dismissed, Misdiagnosed, and Sick”.
Els Goetghebeur
Els Goetghebeur is professor in mathematical statistics at Ghent University. Her research is devoted to the development and application of data analytic methods for primarily biomedical applications generally and with a focus on causal inference, survival analysis and quality of care.
Gilbert Massard
Gilbert Massard is director of the medical education at the University of Luxembourg. Before joining the University, Prof. Massard served as full professor of cardiothoracic surgery at the university of Strasbourg. Besides medical education, his main areas of interest are thoracic oncology and organ transplantation.
Tanya Beckett
Tanya Beckett has worked in broadcasting and the media for over 20 years. She has been a BBC presenter since 1998 and has taken part in several business and news programmes.
