Join the Rugby Club de Luxembourg on the 5th of March for an exciting Rugby/Touch experience!
Girls and women from 8 years upwards are invited to come to the Boy Konen terrain to experience the Rugby sport. Despite most people seeing Rugby as a male dominated sport, this event welcomes women, that are interested getting in touch with Rugby and aims to encourage more girls and women to participate in the sporty activity.
The non-contact Rugby form called Touch Rugby is well suited for women. In countries such as Australia and New Zealand it is considered one of the leading female sports.
The event will take place from 10:00-13:00 and will consist of some activities that illustrate the skills and fun of Rugby. This will be followed by some short games of Touch to get a feel for how the game is played. As Touch is a very limited contact sport, we will be playing mixed age games, so Mums, daughters and friends can all play together.
Equipment is not needed, just bring a pair of trainers/running shoes and a desire for fun!
