Description of the training:
A research paper is a type of academic writing that presents a writer’s original research on a particular topic and analyzes the findings from an objective standpoint. Research papers generally follow a specific structure and include elements such as an introduction, literature review, methodology, results, and discussion. The purpose of a research paper is to demonstrate a student’s understanding of a given topic, as well as their ability to synthesize and analyze information from multiple sources.
Writing a research paper is a complex process that involves researching, drafting, writing, and editing. It is important for students to understand the different steps in the process and to approach each step with care.
This training teaches you how to select a topic, gather relevant information and resources, organise the paper, write a thesis statement, and outline the paper. By the end of the training, participants should have the skills necessary to craft a well-structured, well-written research paper.
